About me
I’m Chris Antepenko, a software and embedded systems developer studying computer science at the University of Georgia.
My experience spans microcontroller firmware, robotics testing, electronics prototyping, and software development. I’ve worked on battery monitoring systems, connected hardware, and consumer electronics, bringing code and physical systems together.
Alongside my computer science studies, I build projects that let me explore how systems work—from a CHIP-8 emulator to a portable synthesizer. My Unity portfolios extend that interest into interactive 3D experiences.

Tested pipeline inspection robots and control systems for municipal use, and assembled robots from engineering drawings.
Developed C firmware for AVR microcontrollers to monitor battery health, implemented CAN-Bus communications, and designed and tested embedded electronics prototypes.
Prototyped sensor-driven consumer electronics, interfaced vending hardware using the MDB standard, and developed C++ embedded applications.
Designed CAD models and schematics for a portable synthesizer. The project won Best Hardware Hack at UGA Hacks X in 2025.
Built a JavaFX emulator implementing the CHIP-8 instruction set to explore CPU architecture.
Authored research presented at the 2022 KSU Conference on Cybersecurity Education, Research and Practice, with a corresponding journal publication.
